Speaking out against King George Cuts
This is one of series of interviews with the aim of creating a video petition to send to Andrew Lansley later this year. It would be great if you made your own and did a link to it.
About a year ago, my Mother had to be taken by ambulance to Queens. She lives in Ilford, but King George had no room for her at the time. It took me at least 45 minutes to get to Queens because of traffic and that was not in the rush hour. Once there she had to wait at least 2 hours for treatment because there were so many people waiting. I think to close King George A & E would be a potential disaster and would be detrimental to the health and safety of the people of Redbrige.
